Large clay flower pots – One of the biggest considerations when trying to grow crops is to determine what kind of pot to use for their home. Two types of housing has been popular, the unglazed clay pots and plastic pots. Both have strengths and weaknesses, we want to hold the comparison to help gardeners make their choice.
A large clay flower pots is not waterproof. Absorb excess moisture from the plants and thereby contribute to plant health. Clay pots keep the plant root systems at the correct temperature and help the root system to breathe and stay healthy.
A large clay flower pots will keep the potting soil moist for long periods of time. Because they are typically high-fired they will not absorb water used for planting material. That is why plants grow easily and for a long period of time in a clay pot. Do not forget that if the pot ever crack or chip seal will be broken and the water will find that gap and try to penetrate.
Also you have to bring the size of the plant into consideration as well, a large plant with thick roots will sit more comfortably in large clay and it will have room to grow and get stable. Most large clay flower pots are more suitable outdoors because they are usually heavy and not easy to move around.
